Description:
Manufactured 1947. It has standard S&W markings, including the early one-line frame address, importer marking on the butt, large ejector rob knob, matching assembly numbers on the yoke and crane, and matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder, and barrel. The factory K-22 Masterpiece gold box is un-numbered and has the correct barrel length and finish on the short ends. Comes with a bore rod with the brush
Excellent. The revolver retains 99% of its original blue finish, showing thinning on the ejector rod and a very light cylinder drag line. 99% plus original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent, with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically, the revolver is excellent. The box is fine, showing some minor wear.
