To soften the recoil impulse and to encourage return the SPC9 has an hydraulic buffer built into the rear of the receiver in an AR Style buffer tube assembly. For adding a brace the Pistol comes with a Telescopic brace adapter. For modern touches the SPC 9 is fully ambidextrous from the fire selector to the non reciprocating charging handle. To add some level of familiarity the SPC9 also has some controls similar to the AR-15 Series of firearms.
