The Polymer 80 PFC9 Pistol Gives You a Home Built Price without Building it at Home

Polymer 80 set a new standard for “home built” firearms with their 80% frames and lower receivers. The PFC9 pistol is a completed firearm that gives you the custom “home built” price, with all the features you want, assembled by Polymer 80. The reinforced glass-filled nylon frame has integrated modular stainless steel slide rails and locking block components. Enhanced ergonomics and custom features such as the aggressive texture on the frame, the double undercut trigger guard, extended beaver tail, thumb ledge, and magazine release relief cut work together to increase control of the pistol and mitigate recoil. A Picatinny accessory rail lets you mount lights or lasers as well. An improved trigger guard provides extra space when wearing gloves. Safety is built into the PFC9 pistol. The PFC9 uses a passive 3-safety system to prevent unintentional firing of the pistol. The articulated trigger safety prevents rearward movement of the trigger unless the trigger is pressed. The striker is blocked from forward movement by the striker block and trigger bar unless the trigger pressed. Serrations on the front and rear of the slide provide excellent gripping surfaces when racking the slide, doing a chamber check, or clearing a malfunction. Chamfering cuts on the leading edge of the slide and frame make holstering the pistol easier. The slide is machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel which has superior corrosion resistance and durability. The barrel is made from 416R stainless steel, the steel of choice for firearms accuracy. A Match Grade chamber, 6-groove rifling with a 1:10 twist ensure that you get the best results with a wide range of ammunition. The barrel and slide are both protected from wear and corrosion with a durable black nitride finish. The front and rear sights are made of steel with the front sight featuring a single dot and the rear with serrations of both sides.
